Kronenwetter is a village in Marathon County, Wisconsin, United States. It is the largest village in area in Wisconsin. It is part of the Wausau, WisconsinMetropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census (while still a town) the population was 5,369. The 2009 population estimate for the village of Kronenwetter was 6,927.^[3] The residential community of Evergreen is located in the village.

 The Village of Kronenwetter is located just south of Wausau and northeast of Mosinee. Convenient to shopping, dining, golfing and parks. Kronenwetter hosts many different parks throughout. The Village of Kronenwetter is part of the Mosinee and D.C.EverestSchool District.

Weston is a village in Marathon County, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Wausau, WIMetropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 12,079 at the 2000 census. The village is served by the D.C. Everest School District which is named after David Clark Everest (a major paper industrialist of Marathon County).

The Village of Weston is located just southeast of Wausau and part of the greater metropolitan area. Convenient to shopping, dining, golfing and parks. Weston hosts an AquaticCenter and skateboard and dog parks. During the summer months bring Weston Fest and the Farmer’s Market. For sports, fitness and activities there is the Aspirus YMCA and Greenheck Field House. The Village of Weston is part of the D.C.Everest School District.
