High commitment to quality service, written individual and company goals; a friendly cooperative atmosphere and the professionalism of other team members drew me to Heath Tappe & Associates, LLC in February 2009. 

Licensed as a Real Estate Broker in 1983, I am currently serving as the Assistant Manager at Heath Tappe & Associates, LLC.  Nearly my entire career as a real estate professional has been as the owner/manager of a well known franchised office in the Wausau area. Accepting the position with Heath has allowed me to have the best of both worlds. I can use my experience in the real estate business to guide team members through transactions when the occasion arises, yet spend the majority of my time doing what I like best- working with buyers and sellers!

During my 26 years in Wausau real estate I have dedicated myself to serving customers and the real estate profession. I am currently serving on the Public Policy Committee for the WI Realtor’s Association, have served as a past director for the state as local associations, chaired and  served on numerous committees and as past President of the Wausau Board of Realtors.

In 2003 I co-founded a non profit organization in memory of my nephew after a tragic vehicle/bicycle accident took the life of this extremely safety conscious 13 year old. Our focus is on identification for bicyclists, helmet safety and driver education. Much of our time is dedicated to participating in bike rodeos, health fairs and student education programs in the State of Wisconsin. We have distributed over 20,000 ID’s in the past 5 years.

In my role as the Executive Director of Brandon’s Champions I have been recognized locally by the Everest Metro Police Department as “Citizen of the Year” in 2004 and nationally by one of the real estate franchises as having an “Uncommon Journey” in 2008.

My family plays a huge role in my life. Joe and I have been married for 39 years and love to travel. We have been blessed with a son, daughter-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren. We love attending any activity the grandkids are involved with and love spending quality time with them.
